BlackRock, the global asset manager, has recently introduced a climate fund designed to facilitate the transition to a low-carbon economy through investments in private debt markets.

The fund will be managed by a team of private debt investors and specialists in sustainability and transition investing.
According to James Keenan, Chief Investment Officer and Global Head of Private Debt at BlackRock, the strategy focuses on capitalizing on the transition to a low-carbon economy as one of the driving forces behind investment opportunities.
