Boston Consulting Group, a global strategy consulting firm, has reestablished its presence in New Zealand with the reopening of its Auckland office, after leaving in 2009.
Boston Consulting Group’s (BCG) Auckland office will enter the new year anticipating its six-month milestone, having reopened with a celebration at the beginning of August after Covid-19 and other complications caused previous delays. Prior to 2009, the company had previously operated in New Zealand through a local office for around twenty years. This time, the company asserts its permanence.
BCG initially entered Antipodean shores in 1990 through the acquisition of local management consultancy Pappas Carter Evans and Koop, which was co-founded by BCG and McKinsey & Company alumni. This arrangement included offices in Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland.
