NiSource, a utility company, recently announced a significant investment from Blackstone.
Blackstone will invest a total of $2.41 billion in NiSource’s subsidiary, Northern Indiana Public Service Company (NIPSCO).
This investment includes the acquisition of a 19.9% indirect non-controlling equity stake for $2.16 billion, as well as an additional $250 million for ongoing capital requirements.
