BNP Paribas: Talent Snatched From SocGen For Saudi Arabia Investment Banking

BNP Paribas SA has recently appointed Jalal Al Marhoon as a managing director in Saudi Arabia, demonstrating the continued expansion of foreign investment banks in one of the world’s most active deal markets.

Al Marhoon will report to Ammar Pharaon, who leads BNP’s investment banking operations in the kingdom.

Al Marhoon brings a wealth of experience to his new position, having previously served as the head of corporate coverage in Saudi Arabia for Societe Generale SA for over 9 years.
