The bank has issued a memo to its workers regarding this measure, which allows the bank to “more accurately track space needs on a team-by-team basis” while ensuring that employees meet attendance demands.

BNP Paribas has enforced the “smart working” policy, requiring its employees to be present in the office for at least 50% of their work schedule, varying based on function, with traders required to follow an in-office attendance policy.
