Consulting firm GE Healthcare has been offering clients technology know-how throughout the Covid-19 epidemic in order to enable them quickly adjust to the protracted problem. Using an integrated, real-time data exchange facility, the company most recently assisted 60 hospitals in Oregon with the management of bed and ventilator allocation.
Since the coronavirus pandemic began, several affected countries have seen rapid hospital overcrowding and a struggle to supply beds or ventilators. Due of the enormous number of predicted illnesses, the US was not an exception to this when the virus struck the country in March.
