Credit Suisse industrials head Spyros Svoronos joins Barclays amid talent exodus

Swiss lender Credit Suisse has suffered a mass exodus of talent following its acquisition by UBS Group AG. Spyros Svoronos, who specializes in chemicals deals, is leaving Credit Suisse to become the global co-head of industrials at Barclays Plc.

He was formerly Credit Suisse’s global head of industrials in investment banking and capital markets. At Barclays, he will co-lead the industrials group with John Lange.
