Deutsche Bank CFO criticises ECB’s scrapping of interest on reserves

In a bold statement, James von Moltke, the Chief Financial Officer of Deutsche Bank AG, expressed his discontent with the European Central Bank (ECB) for abolishing interest payments on minimum reserves.

This decision, announced by the ECB on Thursday, will result in a significant financial burden for banks in the region, amounting to approximately $6 billion.
