GAM Holding, a Swiss asset management company, has appointed Elmar Zumbuehl as its new Chief Executive Officer.
The appointment was made after a shareholder vote was held at an extraordinary general meeting on September 28th.
Zumbuehl, who has been with GAM since 2010, previously served as the Chief Risk Officer and is a member of the group management board.
GAM’s new chairman, Antoine Spillmann expressed his confidence in the new CEO, citing his experience and operational expertise as well as his deep knowledge of the company.
