As it seeks to grow in Europe and Asia and raise its investments in technology, investment banking giant Evercore appointed a company veteran from its US advisory unit as its new finance chief.
Tim LaLonde, the Next York-based company’s co-head of the US advisory division and chief operational officer for the investment banking division, was announced as the new CFO on January 20. He will start on March 6.
He worked as an executive director at UBS Warburg, which is now a division of the financial services behemoth UBS, until joining Evercore in 2001.
