International technology company IBM has announced its acquisition of StreamSets and WebMethods, two data-integration platforms, from German software firm Software AG.
This strategic move aims to enhance IBM’s capabilities in artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud services. The deal, valued at €2.13 billion ($2.3 billion) in cash, is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2024, subject to regulatory approval.
