Jefferies Financial Group Inc. has made a significant hire by appointing Chad Parker as its new global head of transportation.
Parker, who previously served as the global co-head of transportation at Barclays Plc, will be based in New York and will report directly to Pete Bowden, the global head of industrial, energy, and infrastructure banking at Jefferies.
In May, John Miller, the global chairman of investment banking, along with managing directors Kurt Kohlmeyer and Richard Siegel, also joined the bank.
