Jefferies Exclusive: Inside The New Canadian Investment Banking Unit

Jefferies Financial Group has announced the launch of an investment-banking unit in Canada, as part of its efforts to expand its global reach.

The firm aims to offer investment-banking and capital-markets services to its corporate, institutional, and government clients in the country.

The newly established office in Toronto will house a team of more than 40 professionals specializing in investment banking, equity research, and sales and trading.
