JP Morgan has announced changes to its senior dealmaking team by appointing new leaders for its M&A unit that advises private equity firms.

Carsten Woehrn, who was recently made co-head of EMEA M&A, has now been promoted to global head of the Strategic Investor Group (SIG) M&A division, along with Haidee Lee.
The bank’s M&A team has seen significant growth in the past four years, with over 20 bankers and more than 200 sponsor M&A transactions completed globally in the last two years.
