JPMorgan chief Soni joins Numis’ energy deals team

As global investment banks try to capitalise on the shift to net-zero carbon emissions, Numis has hired a former JPMorgan executive to head a new clean technology advising business.

The UK-focused investment bank has appointed Mitesh Soni to the newly-created position of head of cleantech. Soni spent nearly 15 years with JPMorgan, ultimately leading its investment banking division for energy services.
