U.S. private-equity firm KKR has recently completed the sale of a portfolio of industrial properties, comprising over 5 million square feet, for a total value of more than $560 million.

The properties are part of KKR’s Real Estate Partners Americas II fund and include more than 50 industrial buildings located in Atlanta, Dallas-Fort Worth, Chicago, the Lehigh Valley, and Central Pennsylvania.
The demand for industrial properties, such as warehouses and logistic facilities, has increased as the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the shift towards online shopping.
