H2O Asset Management and its former parent company, Natixis SA, are facing a lawsuit in France seeking €717 million ($785 million) in relation to losses from illiquid investments.
A group of over 6,000 investors has filed the lawsuit in a Paris court against H2O, its subsidiaries, Natixis Investment Managers, KPMG, and Credit Agricole SA’s CACEIS.
Natixis Investment Managers has stated that the claims are without merit and they plan to contest them vigorously.
