Scotiabank: COO and CTO Departure Explained

Scotiabank banking unit is undergoing management changes as part of a strategic overhaul led by CEO Scott Thomson.

Kevin Teslyk, the Chief Operating Officer, along with James Neate, President of Corporate and Investment Banking, and Shawn Rose, Chief Technology Officer, have departed from their positions, according to an internal memo.

This follows the recent departure of Dan Rees, who was the head of the Canadian banking unit.
