St. James’s Place, the largest wealth manager in the UK, has appointed Mark FitzPatrick as its new chief executive officer, replacing Andrew Croft.

The appointment of FitzPatrick comes as the UK financial regulator introduces a stricter “consumer duty” regime, which will closely examine the fees charged by wealth managers.
