UBS Group AG has approached several financial firms to assess their interest in acquiring the Chinese brokerage venture of Credit Suisse, according to insiders.
The firms, which include Warburg Pincus, Citadel Securities LLC, and local financial groups, have reportedly received bid invitations.
The expectation is that bids will start at a minimum of 1 billion yuan ($137 million).
